Though my graduation is coming upon here in a little over a month, I still think back on how I could’ve taken more advantage of an expensive education.
See my top 10 college tips I wrote earlier this semester.
The Problem
Many times, students get left out registering for a class because of a few things such as a class being full, not enough credits, etc..
Sometimes, you are just overloaded and do not have room for an exploratory class that you is based around your passions.
The Solution
My tip to current and future college students is make the most of your money and education and sit in on classes or lectures you are not registered for.
Yes, go to any classes you think you might be interested in even if you are not registered for that specific class. You can sit in on the lectures and not worry about the homework or exams.
Professors Not Knowing Their Students
This reminds me of a story of one of my high school teachers who actually told us a story of one of his cheating sessions on an exam in college.
He cheated the whole final exam and the professor knew it. When leaving the final class and turning in his final exam in the big pile of completed exams, the professor asked his name. He quickly shuffled the exam and mixed it into the big pile of completed exams and left.
The professor had no idea who he was or where to find his exam since it was in a huge stack of completed exams.
He ended up with an A in the course.
Think Big,
